There is actually a Japanese Upper House lawmaker - basically the equivalent of an American senator - who has spread conspiracy theories about FDR being a Jew.
He is part of Japan's ruling party and Prime Minister Takaichi is apparently(?) okay with him being in her party.
The majority of tourists to Japan don't come from primarily English-speaking countries; they come from South Korea, Taiwan, and other Asian countries. The first English-speaking country to figure in tourist origin rankings, the US, comes in fifth place.
- 745k are homeless in the US
- medical bills are the #1 cause of bankruptcy
- over 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck
- bottom 80% of Americans have just 7% of the wealth
Yet this criminal is now a trillionaire. We’re a failed country.
Trillionaires shouldn't exist and neither should billioniares. Tax every penny in net worth over $999 million at 100%. We can have extreme wealth concentration or a democracy but we can't have both at the same time. Pick one.
I've been quoted in the Guardian's coverage of Japan's Upper House election: ‘Japanese-first’ Sanseito party goes into election leveraging unease about foreigners

The surge in anti-immigrant sentiment in Japan has led to increasing online attacks against award-winning author Yu Miri (TOKYO UENO STATION). Attackers tell her not to write in Japanese and "go home."
Yu is Zainichi Korean, born in Japan. Japanese is her native language.
We'll be writing about the rise of anti-foreigner sentiment in Japan in the coming weeks, particularly after next week's Upper House election. Until then, a reminder that one common right-wing trope - "foreigners in Japan commit more crimes than citizens" - is BS. More below.
More and more Americans understand that support for the racist Netanyahu government is not only immoral, it is a gross misuse of taxpayer dollars.
We should not provide billions to a government that shoots starving people waiting for food.
NO MORE U.S. MILITARY AID TO ISRAEL.
@MAGAVoice "Being loved by everybody. The LEFT can't stand this."
How the fuck are you so dumb that you can't even see the contradiction from one sentence to the next?
Trump's right: The easiest way to save money is to eliminate the "Billions and Billions" in corporate welfare Elon Musk has received.
Musk's right: Trump's "Big, Beautiful Bill" is a "disgusting abomination" that must be defeated.
Let's do both. It'll be a win-win for America!
