Yearbook, scorecard, beer, two dogs, pie. Bring my own pencil. Mets lose. Remaining 5¢ used for one loose cig as I walk towards the 7. It starts to rain.
This is actually obstruction and it should have been called on Caballero. You cannot obstruct the view of the catch from the runner like this. It didn’t matter as he scored anyway, but this is obstruction and has been called before.
Last year Max Muncy was called for the exact same obstruction against the Mets.

Watching the 9th inning again (of course). That Juan Soto steal of second base was bigger than you think. That put him in position to take a peek at David Bednar's grip right before Tyrone Taylor hit the hanging curve like he knew it was coming.
I still cannot get over Junior Caminero's homer from last night
114.3 mph EV at a 19º LA to DEAD CENTER is truly absurd. In the stat cast era, only 5 other players have done that:
Justin Upton
Mike Trout
Franmil Reyes
Luke Raley
Jac Caglianone
Juniors was the 2nd highest EV behind Mike Trout
5/5/2022 Trailing by six runs in the ninth, the Mets stage an epic comeback, scoring seven times to beat the Phillies 8-7. The victory marks the third time in franchise history in which the Mets erase a six-run deficit in the ninth inning to win the game.
4/29/2016 The Mets score a team-record twelve runs in an inning. With six RBI during the frame, Yoenis Céspedes passes Butch Huksey for most RBI in a single inning by a Met.
