Taylor Swift will be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame at 36 years old, the youngest writer ever to receive the honor.
“From the time I started writing songs as a child, I fixated on Nashville as the perfect place to be,” Swift wrote in a statement. “I wanted to learn with and from the best and get to immerse myself in a community of storytellers, and thankfully Nashville turned out to be exactly what I’d dreamed of. A town that validated and prioritized hard work, determination and imagination. Where the writers show up to work every day even when the mysterious muses and the magic don’t. To be honored by this city I love so much is a beautiful thing, and I’m very grateful.”
The accolade follows Swift having been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York in June, at which point she became the youngest female writer ever to join that hall.

Means so much to me to celebrate 20 years with you all. The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special is streaming now on Disney+ and Hulu. Let me know your favorite moments! Xo
In just 60 seconds at the Sugar Bowl, Laura Rutledge finished her sideline interviews, ran across the entire field, and got ready to host the CFP halftime show.
Tonight all these lives converge here
The mosaics of laughter and cocktails of tears
Where fraternal souls sing identical things
And it’s beautiful
It’s rapturous.
It is frightening.
