@CliftonHarness Spent years of my life dragging in place masses aka masterplan buildings from hovering in space to the right contour level, having so many mass floors cut through them that the homes were technically high rises and never fully knowing if the damn gfa calculates correctly #revit😵‍💫

@michlschwrtz architecture schools add insult to injury by abusing and conditioning students to love the pain, in a S&M kind of way: Go suffer, work for a Starchitect, get paid peanuts. But: doctors in the NHS 🇬🇧 face a very similar dilemma. Frustrated doctors > than frustrated architects.

The estate agent sent over original drawings from the 60ies. "Mom" is hanging laundry while "dad" is relaxing with a paper. Never mind the "kid" who is about to jump.🤦🏻‍♀️What's the gendered BS equivalent in architecture today? Men in suits in offices on CGIs?
