Earlier today, in Malindi, I met with friends of Owalo drawn from the Coast Region.

The team included former Mombasa County Deputy Governor Dr. William Kingi, former Mombasa County Gubarnatorial aspirant Eng. Tony Mkala Chitavi, Kilifi Senatorial Aspirant Joseph Munyoki, former Malindi Water CEO Sifa Mwambire, Ex-CMC Uganda CEO Tim Mwambire, Dr. Harry Mwimali, Banker Daniel Chome, Kupata Matano (son of late long-serving Minister Robert Matano), and Walter Ombogo.

We discussed various perspectives of emerging issues in the operational environment.

This afternoon, at the Grace Onyango Social Hall in Kisumu, I joined the family, friends, relatives and Kenya’s soccer fraternity for a memorial service to celebrate the life of soccer idol Allan Thigo. Thigo is perhaps Gor Mahia’s and Kenya’s most celebrated attacking midfielder.

Present were soccer legends led by Dr. JJ Masiga; Nahashon Oluoch “Lule”; John “Bobby” Ogola; David Ochieng “Kamoga”; Elly Adero “Langalanga”; Pete “Omuga” Dawo; James Goro Oronge; Olando Lolwe; David Okelo; and Peter Odera;among others.

Fare thee well the “90-minute man”;”Ogango Wuon Pap”; “Midfield General” - till we meet again.

Your legacy will live for generations to come!

WATCHED GOR SHARE THE SPOILS WITH KENYA POLICE TO GO SEVEN POINTS CLEAR AT THE TOP

This afternoon, at the Nyayo National Stadium, I watched Gor Mahia draw 1-1 against Kenya Police, to go seven points clear at the top of the KPL Table.

Kogalo is getting closer to reclaiming the KPL title.
