On May 12, 2022, Christian student Deborah Samuel Yakubu was brutally killed by a mob at Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto, Nigeria.

Accused of insulting Islam in a WhatsApp group, she was attacked in broad daylight on campus.

Fellow students dragged her out, beat her, and set her on fire while others filmed and cheered.

The videos spread globally.

Two suspects Bilyaminu Aliyu and Aminu Hukunchi were arrested days later.

Yet they were charged only with criminal conspiracy and inciting public disturbance, not murder.

The police prosecutor repeatedly failed to appear in court. Despite a defense team of over 40 lawyers for the suspects, the prosecution offered no evidence or witnesses.

On January 30, 2023, the case was struck out for lack of diligent prosecution.

The suspects walked free💔

To this day, no one has been convicted for Deborah's murder.

Many of the attackers seen clearly in the videos were never even arrested.

Justice denied because of her faith💔

4 years later look where the denial of justice has gotten the Christians in Nigeria?

Persecuted and killed for their faith daily while the Nigerian Government still denies the injustice from their lack of actions🥀

Dear Nigerians, here is a question that deserves our collective reflection.

The 2026 FG budget has a fiscal deficit of N31.45 trillion, representing 46% of the total budget size. Despite this, N8.05 billion has been earmarked for the construction and renovation of places of worship across the Country;
⛪ 7 Churches — N1.91 billion
🕌 52 Mosques — N6.14 billion

At a time when many communities still lack functional primary healthcare centres, quality schools, clean water, and motorable roads, are these the most pressing priorities for scarce public resources?

Faith is important, but government budgets should primarily address citizens' most critical development needs and improve their quality of life.

With increasing debt and limited fiscal space, every naira borrowed and every naira spent should deliver the greatest possible public value.

A rescued teacher has disclosed that he and other abd¥ctees had already been released by the t+rrorists before they eventually encountered government rescue officials.

Speaking during a call session with Nigeria Info FM on Saturday, the teacher recounted how he became the last person to leave the t+rrorists’ camp after an anchor became locked to his hand when it broke.

“When they released us, everybody had gone… One of them said maybe they should cut off my hand. The other said, ‘No, they should not cut off his hand. We will look for a way to remove the anchor.’”

He said the t+rrorists eventually found a small rope and freed his hand, allowing him to leave the camp. As he tried to catch up with the others, the t+rrorist commander suddenly called him back at gunpoint.

According to him, the commander instead directed him on the route to follow out of the bush, and another teacher accompanied him as they fled.

The group trekked for about 45 minutes to an hour before reaching motorcycles that took them to a nearby village. However, the riders stopped about an hour and 30 minutes away, forcing the principal, vice principal, teachers, students and pupils to continue the journey on foot.

“We trekked for one hour 30 minutes before we got to where the government came to rescue us.”

His account suggests the victims had already been released by the t+rrorists and had made their way out of the forest before eventually meeting government officials who received them. In his words, “We Had Already Been Released Before the Soldiers Came”

Oyo School Kidnapping:

If you listen to the interview one of the released teachers gave on Nigeria Info Radio this morning, you will understand why many people believe this government is deceptive. Everything seems to have become politics for these politicians.

According to the teacher, they were released by the kidnappers' leader. He said there was no gun battle between the bandits and security agents. They only saw a DSS Hiace bus after trekking for over two hours from where they had been held. They met the DSS team near a village in Oyo State and were even afraid at first because the officers were speaking Hausa.

His account is completely different from the government's version, which claimed security agents killed some bandits and arrested others during a rescue operation. The teacher also said the kidnappers escorted them to a point before letting them go, saying they could not go beyond that point. THERE WAS NO RESCUE ANYWHERE.

And now, another group of schoolchildren has reportedly been kidnapped in Kogi State.

Where exactly will they draw the line if they keep treating our lives like political propaganda?
