The only time I saw a match in the dream before it was played was Chelsea vs Liverpool in the Champions League knock-out when I was in SS 2.
I had been anticipating the match with my friends and we were both confident our team would win. On the night of the match, one of my friend s who was a Chelsea fan walked up to me and said, “it’s today oooo. Are you ready to lose?”
I just told him we would lose to them that I dreamt about it. I told him Drogba scored twice and Lampard scored once. Then Babel scored a consolation. I don’t remember seeing Torres’ goal in the dream. He stared at me in shock. He didn’t expect to hear that from me.
Bet was not existing then, but after the match, he just walked up to me and said “Obi, you said it ooo.” I just forced a smile because I was hurt.
Children were always spared. no matter what, children were always spared…
It’s a shame that the @HQNigerianArmy and @NigerianPolice have not recovered them by now, it’s such a big shame to the whole federal system that swore to protect.
It’s a shame to its citizens too..
@GovWike the one you came to commission at kugbo got blown into the express road after the first rain, damaged cars and properties.
Said I should bring it to your notice..
Nostalgia 🥺🥺.
This was when wearing the green and white was a thing of honour and pride as a Nigerian footballer, but now it's a joke...
I blame everything on the disunity and bad leadership of the country, we've got a lot of issues, and our football is one of them..
This was France 98 world cup opening against Spain
It was the golden age of Nigerian football, people played with pure dedication.
Oliseh said "Playing for Nigeria was like a military 🪖 service"
It was a Saturday afternoon game, I watched at Molete under bridge.
Road was scanty, everywhere was quiet & when Nigeria scored you could hear the sound of goal from miles away!
After the game... cab drivers, bus drivers, private car drivers and motorcycles were blowing their horn for no reason.
It was a time when you were happy being a Nigerian & super proud of the boys!
Our current national team get as e be it's a total opposite to those times.
The irony!
he had just made this insane instrumental and needed someone to murder it (or rather breathe life to it) and that’s where Marsboi came in with his crazy pen and ego…
And well you know the rest of the story. ⚠️⚠️⚠️

Until you allow them into your house as pets or guard dogs, you’ll never understand. Same spirit as the Ronus in Lagos 😩 Speaking from experience — his name was Bullet. We built him room and parlour, bros forgot he was a guest oh. Started biting owners and visitors, but feared armed robbers and generator noise 😂.
When footballers become professionals and their muscles (including face muscles) build up, you will think they are older than their age.
If I didn’t meet this boy as a teenager practically bending for me the African culture way in 2018 (just 7 years ago; I was in my mid 30s in 2018 myself), I would have thought this guy is 40 now.
He is clearly in his 20s now, but looks late 30s here, if not 40. Someone that didn’t know him few years ago would have thought he is older than 20s now.
