@LauraRbnsn I'd be annoyed if someone observed my parenting and lectured me on it. Kids have all kinds of needs and skills and need different boundaries. It's also exhausting to hear that you should parent a certain way when you live in a society that won't tolerate it.

@FromPhDtoLife Trello. Each project or deliverable has a list and all tasks are listed. Each week I flag priority tasks. Projects with priority tasks are sorted together. Works better than any other system I've tried. I use it solo.

@schipper_lisa Upside was I channeled that anger into a PhD in systems science and now I specialize in modeling social and socio-ecological systems by integrating qualitative & quantitative data about human behavior.

@schipper_lisa Learning modeling in an env. grad program, I eagerly showed up to a lecture on modeling social systems, only to have my psych/social science brain explode when the prof said 'We don't really know how human behavior works, so we just make assumptions.'
