I realize this guy comes off as elitist and douchey, but he makes a lot of valid points.
And what he says at the end about who actually ends up shouldering the tax burden is spot on.
Government is supposed to work for us. Not vice versa. We should relentlessly demand efficiency. Whenever government tries to increase spending and taxes, that’s when you know it’s failing.
