“Tax the rich” is a scam because the rich don’t actually make money the same way most people do, this guy correctly says.

Rich people work with rules already in the system in order to be able to legally declare little to no income.

The real answer isn’t increasing taxes it’s lowering government spending.

I realize this guy comes off as elitist and douchey, but he makes a lot of valid points.

And what he says at the end about who actually ends up shouldering the tax burden is spot on.

Government is supposed to work for us. Not vice versa. We should relentlessly demand efficiency. Whenever government tries to increase spending and taxes, that’s when you know it’s failing.
