I was planning a short retreat in Upper Egypt to rest and visit the temples. What shocked me was the price: the lowest rate for a decent double room was 400 USD per night. Out of curiosity, I checked the same hotel I stayed in during the same season last year, the price had doubled.
For the last six years, I’ve made an annual pilgrimage to the sacred temples of Egypt. Every year, prices rise dramatically. The demand for the consciousness that these ancient sites hold is unlike anything I’ve seen. And, it’s only growing.
Why?

I am a Harvard graduate, and I am an immigrant. My experience at Harvard stands above many others in my life, not just because of the institution’s name or the power it carries, but because of the international community I became part of. Countries like China, Argentina, and India came alive for me through daily conversations with classmates from across the globe. That kind of exposure is priceless. It expanded my mind and reshaped my understanding of the world. Where are we going from here?
People believe that the ancient Egyptians worshiped many Gods and Goddesses.
Very untrue.
They believed in cosmic principles called NTR and one creator NTR NTRU.
Most single people who work on themselves believe that finding the one is the reward. Not true.
The reward is finding love for yourself, learning life skills and creating your own community. You are the reward.
You think you fall in love with people's goodness.. But this is not true. we fall in love with people's shadows. Have you ever fallen in love with someone who had the same secrets as you do?
I miss walking the streets of Downtown Cairo .. I miss the surprises streets bring. Whoever invented gated communities. What were you thinking ? I believe we lost our intellectual and artistic grit. And became more and more of a consumeristic society.
Become undefinable.
Run a marathon one day, write an essay the next. Direct a short film, build an app, deadlift 500lbs, strategize a marketing campaign, or do whatever your curiosity draws you to.
If you can be defined as "____," you face either competition or replacement.
We reached a point in history where we don’t need more technology. It is already here and with an accelerated pace. We already went to the moon. We have amazing AI technology that is only growing. We fly all around the world. We transfer information instantly.
But yet, we still kill each other. We have so much fear and threats around the use of nuclear weapons. We still judge and may be like more than ever before. We still lock our homes. And don’t know our neighbors. People still die of cancer. Many of us are so sick. Our bodies are failing to keep up with the stress of capitalism, fear and hatred. Romantic relationships are failing us and people already started dating AI. 🤷🏻♀️
So what we really need is a new human story.
One where we know how to live with one another, how to love, how to stay healthy and how to use all this technology for love and expansion, rather than destruction and violence. A story where the human health and mental health come first. A story where one is truly capable of loving their neighbor as they love themselves.
Many will talk you into dooms day scenarios, WWIII, natural disasters, inflation , etc .. while some of those might be true. And, some are happening in front of your eyes. Your work is to hold the belief that all is well. Because disasters and death are nature’s way to cleanse itself. Humanity usually finds a way. And , nothing is happening without a bigger benevolent plan.
What if we are all humans and we are all doing our best, even those you hate the most? Do you have the courage to listen while being hurt and so righteous?
