Well @AmericanAir taking it to DMs just got y’all doubling down on the company line. So PSA everyone, don’t let your young adult children under the age of 21-25 fly AA. They may get stranded with no help and absolutely no one at AA gives a damn.
Since they are under 21, the hotel that was booked by a parent denied them check in. All they got from AA last night after hours of delays was “it’s weather related”. They wouldn’t have still been in PHL if they hadn’t been delayed due to mechanical issues to begin with.
Hey @AmericanAir you stranded 3 young ladies in PHL returning from study abroad with no help. Plane in Europe was bumped/damaged on the tarmac which caused a 4 hr delay, missed connection in PHL Fri nite and now can’t get close to home until Monday. Shameful and unacceptable.
They wouldn’t be in this position if the mechanical issue (obviously I want the plane to be mechanically sound-it was “bumped” and damaged after they boarded) hadn’t occurred yesterday and caused a 4 hour delay. They would already be home and not subject to the weather delays.
Delays and canceled flight today and because it’s due to weather, no assistance, and there are no flights out tomorrow so they are stuck until Monday. This is unacceptable.
Life is weird. Met one of my husband’s coworkers today as he stopped by the lake while we were on the pier. Not that unusual until you realize he’s also one of 2 half brothers I have that I’ve never met. Until today. It was…awkward.
@chrislhayes Point is, these kids have been doing lockdown drills since day 1 in school, but it was literally shove kids wherever they could fit them. I don’t know if the drills mattered. We have amazing faculty and staff that locked down 4 schools in a matter of minutes. 4/
@JeffSharlet Will never forget when my now 20 year old “discovered” Queen in middle school. I had to tell him they had been around longer than I’d been alive. I’ll be 50 in a couple weeks….
@sports_withmads @NipseyHustleFan You ARE brave to share. My relationship w/food changed when I fully embraced “eat to live don’t live to eat.” It’s not easy and it doesn’t always change how I feel about my body BUT as I got older I understood that other people’s opinions were not my business. But that’s just me.
@Deedee6710@barry1156@ErickaAndersen Can’t speak for his son’s birth mother, but I can for mine. She’s great, thanks for asking. She has in fact recovered and was relieved to know that I was being raised with advantages that she would have been unable to provide. We now have a great relationship.
@pk8_boo @irbransmom My mamaw told me about a lady she knew named her baby Bluford. Mamaw said don’t you mean Buford? Lady said no ma’am, Bluford. Upon further inquiry, it was because “last time I saw his daddy he was driving away in that old Blue Ford.” 🤣🤣😳😳
