@homemakinghunny It initially felt very overwhelming to me, but turns out the only difficult part is making the starter and I don't have the time or patience for it. After getting some from a friend it's so easy. If you follow a good guide you can most certainly do it!

@homemakinghunny I would go with a stand mixer. Unfortunately the cheaper models aren't great for most breads and you will wear out the motors. Even Kitchenaid doesn't recommend kneading heavy bread dough. I have had great success with mine though. Maybe look for a 2nd hand on marketplace?
