[RP|MC] I think we’re just gonna have to be secretly in love with each other and leave it at that.

Offering a tentative wave, tucking one hand into the pocket of my trousers.

“Good lady, you seem to be below the weather as of recent days. Is . . . Is everything okay?”

@EnigmaticDoe - gaze fell upon that of the new arrival. It was unlike the Queen to take on a new consort during a royal event, but peculiar times called for peculiar measures. Perhaps she was attempting to strengthen the bond between the two Kingdoms should her own fall under scrutiny.

@EnigmaticDoe -

And wait he did. He stood with his hands clasped before him, head bowed as the wheels of the carriage clacked against the hard cobbled floor, finally drawing to a stop with the horses whinnying impatiently. He raised his head, offering out a hand to the Queen, though his -

@EnigmaticDoe - arrive home in separate carriages ; hell, in separate escorted parties. The King had arrived back hours earlier than the Queen, and rather than greet her himself, he had sent his favourite, most loyal Lord: Roméo. Roméo was like his second son, without the title or fortune. -

@EnigmaticDoe The King and Queen of Dacia had a relationship in turmoil. The King was failing his duties, /failing/ to honour the vows they had sworn before God, and the whole Kingdom could see it, but remained silent in respect.
They’d argued. That could be the only reason for them to -

@alessioCriv - he in good health?” He asked, bowing his head. “I’ll keep him in my prayers.”

[ℜ𝔬𝔪𝔢𝔬 ℭ𝔬𝔲𝔯𝔡𝔢𝔱𝔱𝔞 @ekstasitheos]

@alessioCriv “Alive.” He repeated with a firm nod, and as if on cue, three of the younger servants came running through the hall, giggling away together. Romeo couldn’t help but laugh.
He cleared his throat as they continued to walk together. “I’ve not seen your father around recently. Is -

Romeo gave a small shrug and elicited a soft laugh.
“I’d have come if the invitation had been extended to us lesser nobles. It’d have been nice to escape the monotony of it all here.” With that, he gestured to the tapestried halls.
“Everything’s so. . . Normal, here.”

Alessio turned and chuckled. He waited for Romeo to catch up to him.
“Symone...it was interesting. You should have come.”
He patted Romeo on the shoulder and continued.
“How never changing Dacia?”

“Alessio!” The young male called out to @alessioCriv down the hallway, jogging to catch up to him.

“How was Symone?”

Totally not bitter that he didn’t receive an invite.
