@elonmusk One reason why media outlets, publishers, and platforms must differentiate between opinion and news. That is one thing the public should also be educated about. These people have all the right in the world to say these things but should always be against that background.

Blatant waste of taxpayer money just for a political stunt. Trump did his with a pen, without pomp. You go make a giant billboard...you know what it looks like to a sane person? Like you feel threatened by the name change, and you have to make a statement! Nothing says "coward and insecure" more than a huge billboard affirming the name of a lake!

Yes, other countries. We settled that dispute long ago, with the War of 1812. And we have grown in our relationship and partnership ever since then. Our lives are intertwined. Our securities are. I can confidently say our destinies are! Why not continue to negotiate for a better Union? And why make drastic economic and life-changing decisions that would only start taking effect after these turbulent 4 years are over?

@MattWalshBlog Lake Ontario was named in the 17th century, long before the American Revolutionary War or the Canadian Confederation. It has nothing to do with either country's etymology or founding. Even the province, Ontario, was named after the lake. This is not only unnecessary, it is dumb!

I am almost certain nobody would directly inject potassium phosphate into the spine in the operating room, except it was labelled bupivacaine. So, how would that be the doctor's or anaesthetist's fault?

Canada is doing the "cut off your nose to spite your face" thing... It never ends well. I never really understood that alcohol ban in the first place...was that really a mature way of dealing with opposing tariffs from our southern neighbour? BTW, most Canadians see China as a bigger threat than the USA. Most Canadians do not approve of the American liquor ban. I don't know where she gets her statistics from...

Well...it all defies the concept of a nation. How is that different from autonomous national entities having a trade agreement? This just reduces Canada to nothing more than a geographical expression, economy-wise, and that is very unfortunate. I am a champion of free market enterprise. This Canadian system is not it. AT ALL.

Under national sovereignty frameworks, individual countries retain the legal authority to control their borders and deny entry to non-citizens. Poland is exercising that right. Living a better life is not an argument for immigration. If you want a better life in a country other than your own, that country must also want you for its own reasons. That is why there are regular immigration programs in different countries that are targeted at economic migrants. I am a product of one of these programs in Canada.

It's not about your feelings about the President. It is about someone telling you that they won't let you listen to whatever it is he has to say. The "not letting you listen" part is the ominous evil here. Now, think of something you would really like to hear, and then these networks decide because they think it is not good for you; they won't allow you to hear it. Do you get it now?
