Before the Timestream Entanglement, Hela's agents kidnapped Angela’s sister, Laussa. Hell-bent on saving her, Angela rushed to battle, but was pulled into a collapsing universe, together with Heven, the Tenth Realm.

A brutal war was waged between gods and demons, and Angela witnessed the fall of many angels, including the Queen herself. Angela rose to lead the as the new Queen, and eventually encountered Magik.

With Magik's help, Angela returned to her original dimension and continued to pursue her quest to find Laussa. After a long search, she discovered Laussa in K'un-Lun and learned Hela had betrayed the Chronoverse, now imprisoned in the Eighth City. Angela vowed to make Hela pay and rushed to make her way toward the Heart of Heaven.
