For this to appear on the ballot for final approval they must pass this language again in January per our constitution.
So…if the Republicans hold the General Assembly and take the Governor’s mansion, abortion could be banned in Pennsylvania by this time next year.
Hard to see why Democrats should have the slightest bit of fear about adopting a fire-breathing, hell-raising pro-Roe posture. The dumbest thing the party could do is end up fighting with its own base about how fast to move or how much to triangulate.
@JoyAnnReid@SenWhitehouse Hold the House. Add just 2 more Democratic Senators. Eliminate the filibuster and pass a bill codifying Roe into law. That's our job in November and it's doable. If you voted in 2020 and vote again in 2022, we will win.

We need an impeachment investigation into Clarence Thomas’s role in the January 6th coup, as well as into Gorsuch, Alito, Barrett, and Kavanaugh’s testimony on Roe during their confirmation hearings.
- Restrain judicial review
- Expand the court
- Clinics on federal lands
- Expand education and access to Plan C
- Repeal Hyde
- Hold floor votes codifying Griswold, Obergefell, Lawrence, Loving, etc
- Vote on Escobar’s bill protecting clinics
We can do it!
We can at least TRY
Only voting for democrats who will abolish the filibuster, codify AND EXPAND Roe and the right to contraception (and gay marriage and privacy in our own fucking homes), AND expand the fucking Court.
