Delivery didn't turn up from @JohnLewisRetail last week. No explanation. 3 outbound calls to their call centre plus an email and I'm no further on. Waiting for them to respond/call my wife back but hasn't happened. Getting a bit exasperated 😬
@MayorofGM@AndyBurnhamGM when are you going to put on some extra trams from old trafford when the football is on??? Waited 18 mins for 1st tram tonight after the match. Last time 15 mins. Thousands queuing behind me. No wonder the roads are choked with cars. #darkages
The importance of a total and enforceable lockdown. Why do the UK not have this yet???
Lodi in Italy was on lockdown starting Feb 23rd, while Bergamo wan't until the national lockdown on March 10th. Cases in Bergamo continued to rise. In Lodi, the curve flattened.
Living in Central London I knew we’d be more at risk, so have stayed at home since last weekend.
Last night I started to feel ill and now am full blown sick.
Fever, entire body aches, nauseous, sore throat, shakes and a weird rash on my shoulder.
Now in full on isolation.
Friends, Q:
Is there a bookkeeping diff betw Italy & Germany as far as "cause of death"? If an Italian has severe pulmonary emphysema & dies while positive for Corona, Corona is the COD.
In Germany?
(Rasputin was poisoned, shot, beaten, then thrown in River. Drowning was COD.)
Fear mongering about lockdowns lasting for months is wrong. If we really lock down, in 2 weeks we know everyone infected now. They can be isolated. The next two weeks only people they live with might be sick. That is why it can be fast. See China attached.
People are worried about economic impacts of locking and shutting things down. Half way measures will be very expensive because they will cost but will not stop the outbreak. Full actions will stop the outbreak and in a few weeks we can be back.
