Turned off comments because some people lack critical thinking & expect someone to be 100% perfect or they aren’t happy. Grow tf up & step away from the fandom a while, it’ll help you.
@luvhaseulmotion she said “queer community” to be inclusive of everyone, because not just lesbians were offended… & it’s using basic critical thinking to put together what she’s addressing. not every apology needs to be perfect, but she acknowledged her wrongs & said she’s learning.
@erinyes_dirae amanda said the slur “d*ke” on a podcast named “two d*kes with mics” & she asked if she was allowed to say it, & the two lesbian hosts encouraged her & said it was fine. leading her to continue saying it. she has recently apologized for using it via her insta story after backlash
@luvhaseulmotion i’m 23 & i didn’t know “l*sb*” was a slur until a year ago. some people aren’t educated as others, as long as there’s someone who can hold them accountable.
@sodapops0lstice didn’t say she was innocent, she apologized & acknowledged she was wrong. & they should’ve told her from the first time she said it that she shouldn’t say it. they were the ones who let it slide & told her it was fine to say it, encouraging her to say it more
@fujin0hno again, because they told her it was okay. she asked if she can even say that word, & the response should’ve been “no you can’t”. but since the “okay”came from two lesbians, she trusted them.
@fujin0hno i’m saying it was wrong for them to lead amanda on, saying it was okay for her to say that word. they should’ve been the first to say “no you shouldn’t use that word” & avoided this entire thing. but they thought it was “funny” & continued to post the podcast
i think it’s irresponsible for the two hosts to tell her it’s okay & lead her on. they should’ve educated her & said that it’s not okay to say it. but they go on & let her make a fool of herself. i’m tired of people bashing amanda when they have most of the blame, not just her.
@ElChico_Hector a lot of shade is being thrown on amanda, & not on the two queer woman. they obviously set up a “safe space”, told her it was okay & encouraged her, saying it’s okay to say a slur that many people (obviously) find it offensive, just because she was over 6 ft… makes no sense
