1/ National are lying about the India FTA they negotiated and signed themselves.

They claim it “does not grant automatic rights for family members to enter, work or study in New Zealand.” ❌

Annex 8K Section F: “New Zealand shall allow the entry and temporary stay of the partner and any dependent children accompanying a natural person of a Party that has been granted entry and temporary stay for a period of over 12 months under this Annex.” ✅

“Shall allow.” Legally binding. They cannot refuse.This isn’t a mistake. Either they’re deliberately lying to the public, or they’re so incompetent they don’t understand their own treaty.

Shane Jones has done a public service by warning of a "butter chicken tsunami" in the form of mass immigration of Indians. But we can't stop it just by not passing the India FTA - it will only have a small effect on immigration and only from one country. We need tough new immigration policies like those rolled out by the Trump Administration, or proposed by right-wing parties in the UK, Australia, and elsewhere.

🚩🚩The NZ Govt has put up its NZ Trade and Export page to encourage NZ businesses to relocate to India.

The main selling point ? - ‘ CHEAP LABOUR’. This deal will gut what is left of NZ’s manufacturing, and Luxon is all for it.

As per the trade agreement with India NZ will facilitate $35 Billion of investment from NZ into India over 15 years. Thirty five billion.

The expected exports we will earn over this time is a paltry $500 Million in extra exports a year. At the moment NZ exports a tiny $500m a year to India, National are saying this will grow to 1 billion.

To put this into context, NZ exports $10 billion to Australia, and $9.5 billion to the U.S (where we endure tariffs & do not have a FTA).

Is this sounding like a good deal?

In the interview below Todd Mclay lets the cat out of the bag, admitting we could not get a deal on our dairy as dairy is the cornerstone of India’s unsophisticated economy so they will guard it zealously. Micro dairy farms throughout India are a key source of Income domestically for the masses of poor people. India wants to modernise this and commercialise it rapidly, which is why the FTA also stipulates NZ is to ‘share innovation (IP) and technology to modernise India’s dairy sector’ ….

Do you really think they will ever let us sell dairy to India? I have a bridge for sale if you do. The median income in India in 2026 is NZD $400 a month, $100 a week. wtf are they ever going to buy off us ?

Fonterra could for example open a plant there and process our value added products’. NZ has been here before, exporting raw product to overseas and buying it back in as a finished product, think forestry.

In the interview he also inadvertently admits the deal cannot be changed once signed.

Mclay lets it slip that ‘India cannot change the deal once signed’ Which by deduction means neither can NZ.

And it gets worse. Hipkins admits that India will more than likely enforce the $35 billion investment as India has set up an office to ensure it happens, but Hipkins is still happy to sign the deal anyway - ‘it’s up-to business’ he says regarding the risk.

And then an all time shocker, Mclay tells Hoskings that other parties will come around or they’ll get punished by 100 Nz businesses, and by ‘350,000 Indian voters in NZ’. Which is probably why Labour supports it. National and Labour are fighting over the Indian vote.

Here’s the deal, anytime in 15 years if India doesn’t feel like it’s sucking enough life out of NZ it can kill the deal, which you can guarantee the NZ govt will then drop to their knees to offer anything to India to keep it… like I don’t know, unlimited immigration. Luxon who literally got on his knees to pray to their god during negotiations never really understood Leverage did he?

🚩Duncan Garner : The India FTA is a con! :

An immigration whistleblower contacted Duncan - NZ will essentially give control of our immigration to India. Winston will hit 20% at the election says Garner.

Garner is one of the few in the media to pick on the fact that the FTA includes ‘UNCAPPED STUDENT VISAS’ a channel that is widely exploited by Indians to get into a country.

Globally 69% of Indian Student visa holders will become a permanent resident of the western host country. Last year Australia had 200,000 Indians come under the scheme. India has the largest youth demographic in the world - get this : 110 MILLION. India could send all 195 countries in the world 2 million people and still have a population of well over ONE BILLION.

Duncan also reads out an email from an immigration whistleblower who explains how Immigration NZ has massive issues dealing with Indian fraud and dishonesty and how Indian employers will only hire Indians, and now Student visas will allow a Pizza driver (happens now) to meet the criteria for entry. This is a disgrace, NZ has a youth unemployment rate of 15.2% !!

Long time former National Minister Maurice Williamson says he’s checked the details of the India FTA and agrees with WP it’s all one way and benefits India -
