As a Lebanese, I have more in common with the Israelis, Cypriots and Greeks than with anyone else in the Mediterranean.
This the alliance we should seek to join / form
Narrative violation warning:
Elders in my Arab village in Israel told me the richest Palestinians sold their land and left first. 80 years later, their grandkids now claim to be displaced victims.
I am so allergic to victim mindset. It boils my blood. ~15 million displaced Hindus and Muslims in India-Pakistan around the SAME year. No one is trying to be a victim there. It's time to move on.
"You only get to be a victim once. After that, youโre a volunteer."
I would never define myself as a "genocide scholar," but I have taught university-level classes on the Armenian genocide, the Holocaust, and the Rwandan genocide, and have published professionally on the topic
And I can say that Elliot is 100 percent correct
The elements of the crime of genocide are not remotely there with Gaza
The genocide accusation against Israel isn't a thoughtful scholarly assessment
It's propaganda meant to legitimize violence against Jews
That's why the accusation existed in antizionist circles well before October 7
๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ช During the war, Israel rushed cutting-edge weapons systems to the UAE to help defend against Iran's onslaught of more than 500 ballistic missiles and 2,000 drones.
The package included the Iron Beam laser defense system, the Spectro drone-detection surveillance system, Iron Dome batteries, and "several dozen" Israeli military personnel to operate them.
Israel reportedly pulled some systems straight from the prototype stage to get them to the UAE fast enough, with one official saying they let the Emirates "into our underwear."
It was the first major test of the Israel-UAE alliance since the Abraham Accords, and by most accounts, it held.

Iran and their proxies tried to destroy Israel, starting with Yahya Sinwar on Oct 7
Instead, despite the war, Israelโs economy crushed most of the world
Their unemployment is at 3.2%, inflation under 2%, and the Tel Aviv stock exchange is up 20% since January.
The shekel also gained 7% against the dollar during the war.
Say what you want about their Government and foreign policy, but Israeli innovation and business acumen is second to none
Iran has agreed to 11 out of the American conditions, and the remaining three are still under negotiation for the next two weeks:
1. A permanent commitment never to develop or possess nuclear weapons.
2. Handing over all its enriched uranium to the International Atomic Energy Agency.
3. Allowing the IAEA full access and monitoring of every part of its nuclear facilities.
4. Completely and permanently stopping uranium enrichment inside Iran.
5. Significantly reducing both the range and the number of its missiles.
6. Immediately cutting off all support to militias and proxy groups in the region.
7. Stopping all attacks on energy facilities in the Gulf.
8. Reopening the Strait of Hormuz immediately, with no conditions or delays.
9. Lifting all sanctions imposed on Iran.
10. Canceling the snapback mechanism for reimposing UN sanctions.
11. American support for the Bushehr nuclear power plant, but only under direct US supervision. !
@sinatoosi - The first attack against universities was carried out last year by the #Iran regime against #Israel Weizmann Institute.
"Iranian missile strike devastates two buildings at Israelโs Weizmann Institute
Hundreds of scientists have lost labs, equipment, and specimens"

@NotebookLM one small but hypercritical feature is to be able add a google drive folder in its entirety as a source. Id like to be able to update the drive folder (ex: add a new file) and for it to be automatically added to notebook as a source. Any chance this is on the roadmap?
Today I am proud that the second edition of my 7 October Parliamentary Commission Report is being published. It's on https://t.co/kGBAry0brX We cannot allow history to be distorted and 7 Oct denial to win @AppgIsrael#7October#Israel
Yโall know I have my disagreements with Bibi. Budget priorities, haredi welfare spending, import reforms, judicial reform, information war, avoidance of accountability, Gaza war - okay, a lot of disagreements, including on big, critical things that affect our lives and the lives of our neighbors.
But the man has been planning the ayatollahsโ fall for two decades. He believes itโs why God (inasmuch as he believes in God) put him on this Earth.
And damned if he isnโt seeing through this thing he has always believed was his destiny.
Iโll keep criticizing the bad stuff. Iโm a citizen. He works for me. Thatโs how the system is supposed to work.
And Iโll keep praising and being grateful for this one great big huge thing.
I donโt know if heโll succeed. I canโt think of anyone else who would have been so grimly single-minded and so specifically competent in the specific skillset required to bring us to this point.
Succeed in this one big thing, Bibi, and you will have earned your place in the annals of this people.
And then get serious about the import reforms. Weโre dying here.
@MarioNawfal@AGDugin Sometimes your commentary is so amateurish that is completely discredits you as a news source. Itโs a shame you are so consistently inconsistent.
