Same issues faced in NC. An in-person requirement will greatly impact ability to provide care for people in rural areas esp w transportation issues (often why ppl do bupe telemed and not an OTP) or long waitlist. @KateandOlive_ @Elainaaaaaaa

It’s clear that a number of people who do not have first-hand experience of the psychiatric system do not realize how much it relies on coercion and control rather than compassion and care. This is not to say that there aren’t caring mental health professionals — there are.
