“True happiness is not dependent on external circumstances but on the mind's ability to cultivate gratitude, embrace impermanence, and find peace in the midst of change.”
Out of all the dogs we’ve helped I think McMuffin is the biggest comeback ever.
I still don’t know how she made it.
Sadly just last week she was battling for her life again… (1/10) 🧵
"Count your blessings without denying your problems. You don’t have to choose between gratitude and struggle. Both can coexist. You can thank the sunrise while facing the storm. You’re allowed to find something good to hold on to, even when life feels heavy." ~Vex King @vexking
"True joy results when we become aware of our connectedness to everything." - Paul Pearsall
Happy Thursday ✨
There's something about the illusion of separateness that we carry - this idea that our skin somehow contains us, defines us, marks where we end and the world begins.
But pause for a moment and notice: your breath right now is in constant dialogue with the air around you, your cells are dancing with bacteria that we've labeled as 'not us', your very thoughts are being shaped by these words passing through your awareness.
Where do we actually end?
We're less individual entities and more living conversations - each moment an exchange with an infinitely complex world.
The sun warming your skin isn't stopping at some imaginary boundary - it's becoming you, just as the food you eat becomes you, just as every idea you encounter subtly reshapes your neural pathways.
We're more like rivers than containers, constantly flowing and exchanging with everything around us.
Today, when you step outside, try softening the illusion of separation.
Feel how the wind doesn't just move around you but through you.
Notice how the sounds of leaves rustling aren't occurring 'out there' but are experiences arising in your consciousness, which itself is part of this vast, mysterious dance of existence.
Perhaps joy isn't something we achieve or find, but something we remember when we stop maintaining the exhausting fiction of separateness.
When we allow ourselves to feel how deeply, irrevocably connected we are to this living world - not as an intellectual concept, but as a felt truth in our bones.
How might your day shift if you moved through it not as an isolated observer, but as an intimate participant in this endless dance of interconnection? ✨
"When you make the present moment, instead of past and future, the focal point of your life, your ability to enjoy what you do and with it the quality of your life increases dramatically." - Eckhart Tolle

Leo Messi was 6 months of extreme hard graft but we fixed him.
I went back to see him in his new home and it was all worth it… (1/8) 🧵
