@Wyatollah @lymanstoneky Well sure, but they paid into it their whole working lives too. That’s the nature of old age programs. It is in very bad shape due to the lack of young people relative to boomers, and that is hard to fix unless young people have more babies again.

@GreenPlusAnE My take that makes people SO angry is that daycare is not expensive. What else can you do for 50 hours a week at that cost? It’s like $7-8 an hour in most places, including food and materials.

It’s just a ton of time, and you can’t fix that.
