It's been one week since we launched @adventuresofmei and what a ride it’s been.

First off, thank you. The love for Mei, the art, and this crazy idea means the world to me. I set out on this journey because I wanted to tell a story, make art, and build a world alongside a community. Mei is a character I’ve dreamed up to live in a tapestry of memes and internet culture. My goal? To make Mei a household name, a beloved IP with depth and soul. Mei has been under development for over three months, and I’m just getting started.

In our launch trailer, Mei, an ordinary girl stumbles upon a mysterious coin. The coin isekais her into the Memeverse, a wild universe full of your favorite characters. This is where the Adventures of Mei takes place. While the art got a ton of love (thank you!), I wanted to clarify what was actually happening. Over the last week, Mei’s ‘Fwogville’ arc has given you a small taste of what awaits her in this parallel world.

Mei’s adventure has limitless potential and future arcs are already in development. I’ve fantasized about building an IP that can branch out into figurines, animated shorts and more for in the future. I feel incredibly fortunate to have this opportunity to commit fully. MEI is for those who want to support my art and be part of something bold and different. If this excites you, join me on this adventure and let’s build together!
