@RyshabTalks Gaucho has been doing this for a long time, he has excellent posts about them! The thing is as I said that you need significant capital in your max risk portfolio. Would say 1M$ plus before you can do it without each call being more than 1% of your capital
@RyshabTalks@GIMastery That works if you’ve been in for a while; but for instance for @GIMastery new entry into SNDK; it means you need 66% return just to not lose money when the 40% haircut happen, which I agree it will.
@RyshabTalks Thanks for the regular updates! I am around 51% myself, but you have caught up the last few weeks. I haven't been to commit to Semis as much. I am still considering buying about 10% more MU, same for CRDO, but these levels ... How do you approach that?
@JonahLupton I’ve been owning it for a while, but the market doesn’t seem to get excited at all for this stock. I think it’s precisely because we can track so well. I agree it should be higher, but after 18 months in I’m considering moving on. Never liked to fight the market!
In long conversations, these open-weights models’ personas drifted away from the Assistant persona. Simulated coding tasks kept the models in Assistant territory, but therapy-like contexts and philosophical discussions caused a steady drift.
@RyshabTalks Yes that’s what I meant, for me all accounts with tax benefits cannot have margin. So it would only work in not fiscally advantageous accounts. Guess it makes sense otherwise ppl would use margin to get non taxable gains
@RyshabTalks Okay I guess I have to read about this cause i have no idea how to portfolio secure it. Broker I see only offer it in margin accounts which means taxed accounts
@RyshabTalks If you ever write in details about it would love to read - it’s one of the things I studied (options) but stayed away personally until last year
@AirbnbHelp I had my first bad host experience w/ a kettle that didn’t stop boiling water, falling door handles leaving people stuck in room - the host asked for money, you confirmed there would be no charge by email. Now I get repeated message to pay from your support?@Airbnb
