Elastos runtime, written in Rust, is making great progress. This system means one bad app or sketchy AI can't quietly steal your data or drain your accounts.

ElastOS v1.2 is getting close ⚡

A lot has been happening this week as the team keeps pushing toward release later this month. Work has continued across the runtime, dDRM V3, dApps running directly inside PC2, block explorer progress, and bringing council node costs down.

That includes more testing around room-based permissions, more work on separate ElastOS computers interacting with each other in real time, continued progress on getting dApps running properly inside the personal cloud computer, and ongoing infrastructure work to make node operation cheaper while keeping the same stability.

Working on email login to ElastOS, moving towards non-web3 native accessibility (with blockchain underneath).

You then have your normal account and your agent account inside. Top up with stables using card. Your Agent wallet dosent require bridging to spend, simply pay from any chain.

We then have an ecosystem of dApps coming and being built, the first being the whole Elacity digital rights management system and market for selling txt files, ebooks, audio, videos up to 3d models first.

You own your home/shop, you package your product locally and sell tokenized acces rights to anyone globally, from consumers, agents or AI companies for training, income is immediate on every sale.

All this moves up into the the Dapp marketplace layer, enabling Web3 business for established apps (like eg Uniswap) to vibed code apps. Sellers package and sell on the dapp store, buyers own a copy and download and run locally. Freemium also available.

The Battle for Your Phone Has Just Escalated to a New Level

AI Agents (your future digital butler) are now capable of booking rides, ordering food, and managing various aspects of your life simply by your voice commands.

Super Apps like WeChat, Apple, and Google have spent the past decade acquiring every tap, ad, and payment opportunity.

In a recent development in China, ByteDance launched an “intent-first” AI phone. However, just three days later, WeChat and Taobao blocked it entirely, forcing ByteDance to concede defeat.

This battle is unfolding globally:
- Apple has quietly modified App Store rules to hinder the functionality of third-party agents.
- Elon Musk’s xAI is suing Apple and OpenAI for allegedly favoring ChatGPT over Grok.
- Qualcomm and startups are developing on-device “orchestrators” that could potentially eliminate the app model altogether.

The stakes are high:
Whoever controls the AI layer that interprets your voice commands has the power to determine:
- Where you see advertisements.
- Who accesses your data.
- Who receives a share of the transaction fees.
- Which products you discover.
