Night 3
No music.
But at 2:47am I needed water. Walked to the kitchen.
Passed the wall that should’ve been a spare room.
There was a door there.
Painted the same color as the wall. No handle on my side.
I stood there for a long time. Then went back to bed.

Night 4
I asked the gateman: “Is there a spare room in my flat?”
He looked at me. “Oga, that flat na 1 bedroom.”
“There’s a door though.”
He made the sign of the cross. “Don’t mind that one. Previous tenant... she liked to paint.”

Previous tenant.
I went home and googled the address + “news”.
Nothing. Then I googled the landlord’s name.
