3). A righteous man does not borrow his convictions from the crowd.
He does not wait to see what is trending before deciding what is true.
Truth remains truth even when it is unpopular.
The Cost of Silence
1). One of the easiest ways to participate in darkness is not by speaking lies.
It is by refusing to speak truth.
Many imagine evil advances because wicked men are powerful.
Often, evil advances because righteous men are silent.
2). Scripture says:
“The righteous are bold as a lion.”
(Proverbs 28:1)
Notice that boldness is not presented as a personality trait.
It is presented as a fruit of righteousness.
One evidence of genuine love for God is obedience when nobody is watching.
Not worship on a stage. Not prayers before a crowd. Not scriptures posted online.
Obedience.
Jesus said, "If ye love me, keep my commandments."
Love is not merely declared.
Love is demonstrated.
And one of its clearest expressions is obedience.
Public devotion can impress men.
Anyone can appear spiritual when there is an audience.
Anyone can appear spiritual when they speak the lingua or quote few passages from the bible
But the main question is do we truly live by the word?
One sign of apostasy is not that people stop talking about Jesus.
It is that they continue talking about Him while gradually removing the demands He makes.
The Christ who saves is the same Christ who commands.
The average Christian thinks he's shining for Jesus by earning more money and accumulating more fame.
Even if his business empire overworks staff and underpays employees.
We need to learn what being a light of the world and salt of the earth really means.
The obsession with "success" has twisted our perspective in a way that we have become useless to God aside from helping to build our church cathedrals.
The real shining is to display the nature of God in a wicked world.
Not by having more wealth or glamour but by demonstrating more virtue.
Church is a sacred place, so don't be ashamed to display "strange things" in church.
Lifted hands in surrender,
Teary eyes of adoration,
Bent knees in prayer,
Ecstatic rejoicing and Solemn listening should become normal even if you'll never do these things elsewhere.
Church is sacred and special.
You should have sacred moments in church.
Matthew 28:19-20
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost!
Pray for us!!!!!
