La comparación entre MicroStrategy y LUNA no parece del todo adecuada debido a las diferencias fundamentales en sus modelos de negocio y riesgos asociados.

MicroStrategy y su Estrategia con Bitcoin:

MicroStrategy ha adoptado una estrategia de acumulación de Bitcoin, utilizando sus reservas de efectivo y emitiendo deuda y acciones para comprar más BTC.

Esta estrategia se basa en la creencia de que el valor de Bitcoin aumentará a largo plazo, proporcionando así un potencial de ganancia significativa para los accionistas.

Aunque esta estrategia implica un alto nivel de endeudamiento, MicroStrategy no está prometiendo retornos fijos como lo hizo LUNA.|

En cambio, su riesgo está más asociado a la volatilidad del precio de Bitcoin y a la capacidad de la empresa de gestionar su deuda y están sobre colateralizados enormemente.

RECORDEMOS AHORA A LUNA

Por otro lado, LUNA, parte del ecosistema Terra, ofrecía rendimientos muy altos a través de su stablecoin UST, los cuales eran sostenidos por mecanismos complejos de algoritmos y staking que, en última instancia, se colapsaron.

El problema de LUNA no fue solo el endeudamiento sino la insostenibilidad de su modelo económico que prometía retornos basados en un sistema que no podía mantenerse bajo presión de mercado.
