@bcahillnicholls I couldn’t agree more. I was surprised not to read more empathetic responses from those who can surely imagine the pressure of their roles in such a high-profile event.
Thank you to @HAprimaryschool for welcoming our Lower Sixth Linguists last week. Our pupils really enjoyed leading French and Spanish classes with the Yr 1-6 children, who were lively, engaged learners and a joy to 'teach'.

@Womensrunninguk absolutely loved this week’s podcast. Just working my way through C25k and it hurts! So I needed a laugh…my only request is please talk more about hilarious haircuts and red kites, and don’t get on to actual running so quickly. 😉
@JohnDoe247365 Happened to me in my first week as a Head. Nasty moment, but so much better than having an unhappy and ineffective teacher for months or years. Good luck with next steps.
@giles_fraser Too general and simple, @giles_fraser - I love Latin, but are you really arguing against teaching young people skills? When you dig again I think you will see Latin does provide useful skills, as does Computing.
Yesterday we said goodbye to Ms Priday, a very special singing teacher who has worked @ChristColBrecon for 25 years. Much young talent has benefitted from her excellent teaching over the years. We wish her all the very best for the future!
