@Klonick Don't give up on "The wonders of mixed use". First, some of this is temporary. Second, people still need third places. It may not look exactly as before, but NYC has been given an opportunity to come out of this better than before and mixed use is a critical piece.

@cindymclaughlin @davidssilverman @Klonick @jesqa_ There are both City (zoning regs) and State (multiple dwelling law) requirements on yards, courts, light and air that make conversions from com to res challenging. (And the zoning resolution is from 1961.)
