No Paul, some of us work on the frontier, and we don't see any evidence in science or otherwise to fulfill a lot of the claims being made. Its my job to deploy frontier into some of the largest companies and pharmaceutical labs in Europe, its my responsibility to make them safe. Its possible, but it violates a narrative. Especially when most of the events being pointed at to prove a point only prove that there is a dramatic issue in high degree of incompetence. The rest is hubris, conjecture at best.

I wish people would notice that the safety scare is not driven by people outside of the big labs, but directly from their leadership. The "whistleblowers" are plants that are amplified from within the labs, and supported by the CEOs. The goal is to capture the regulators, which will not shut down the big labs, but turn them into an oligopoly and outlaw decentralized AI.
