Meet Cherry and Sherry Wilmore, these incredible Black twin sisters who grew up in foster care and turned their pain into purpose! ๐๐พ
After spending 12 years in the foster care system, these queens from Houma, Louisiana refused to let their past hold them back. Instead, they launched their own nonprofit, CHeriSH Times Two, to help other foster kids succeed โ donating laptops for college, supporting vulnerable youth, and showing up for the community in a major way.
From surviving the system to becoming changemakers and role models! this is real Black sisterhood, resilience, and beautiful comeback energy!
We love to see it. Cherry and Sherry, youโre making your younger selves proud and lighting the way for so many others. Keep shining, Queens! ๐๐ฝ
