Film Study: Xaivian Lee (Florida)
Deep diving into one of the most creative playmaking point guards in this draft cycle. A player with advanced court vision, good feel in the pick and roll, a tight handle, elite speed and some defensive chops, too.
Lee will need to develop a floater/runner/in-between game, as more than 90% of his shot attempts were either layups or 3-pointers, and he doesn't have the size or athleticism to consistently finish through traffic. He'll also need to improve his 3-point shot after making just 29% last season.
But he's a point guard who wasn't invited to the Draft Combine and plays with a certain flair and fearlessness that has value and warrants a complete look.

NBA Draft Film Study: Meleek Thomas
Breaking down the multiple sides of Thomas' game. He's unusual in the sense that the extremes of his game—the NBA-caliber shotmaking and the out of control tendencies—often appear within a single possession.
Also examining his defense—the skill I believe will ultimately determine whether or not he earns minutes in the NBA.

Film study of Arkansas forward Trevon Brazile, a 6-foot-10 super athlete with shooting touch and defensive rim protection.
Breaking down his game, where it needs to improve, and what it could potentially blossom into.

@trevonbrazile2@RazorbackMBB
The *two sides of Trevon Brazile’s defense —
Off ball: Excellent help defender at 6-foot-10 with a 7-4 wingspan, usually there on rotations, and blocks shots at the rim
On ball: Gives up positioning too easily as a post defender, gets driven by smaller players who shield him well, and is too jumpy on pump fakes
*the third side — pick and roll defense — is tbd for me
Film Study: Billy Richmond III (Arkansas)
Published this breakdown yesterday, right around the time Richmond announced his decision to return to Arkansas for his junior season.
Deep diving into and explaining his game, highlighting where he makes an impact right now, and the areas he needs to get more composed in.
Competitive, bunny-like hops, aggressive straight-line driver, catch-and-shoot threat, high motor.
But plays a step too fast on both ends, resulting in self-inflicted turnovers, loose shot attempts, and off-balanced defensive stances.
If he can get the game to slow down for him, Richmond will truly unlock his versatile toolbox. He’ll have another year at Arkansas to show he can rein it in a touch, while still being the attacking two-way wing he’s been.

Film Study: Why Chris Cenac Jr. Could Become a Real Defensive Standout in the NBA
Breaking down Cenac's game ahead of the NBA Draft and why he has a good chance to grow into a high-level rebounder and defender at the next level.
6-foot-11 with a 7-foot-5 wingspan, rebounds every which way, and defensively covers lots of ground in ball-screen and recovery situations. Impressive combination of mobility and aggressiveness.
Offensively, it's a work in progress.
But the rebounding and defensive tools look to be in place to blossom.

Film Study of Richie Saunders (BYU), one of the best movement shooters in the Draft. At 6-foot-5, Saunders has an NBA frame and great lift on his release. He's among the best at flowing off screens into his jumper.
He shot 49% FG/38% 3PT on volume (18.8 PPG).
Quick-twitch shooting and feel for the game should translate to the NBA.

Tre Donaldson (Miami FL) Film Study and Analysis: https://t.co/cziiRWxzoL
Donaldson is one of the more clutch shotmakers in the 2026 NBA Draft. A 6-foot-3 point guard, he is adept at probing the defense, making shots off the bounce, and setting up open teammates. Donaldson finished in the top five in both total assists and assists per game in the ACC this past season.
Breaking down his strengths, overall game, and areas for improvement as he moves to the next step of his basketball journey.

Film Study: Zuby Ejiofor (St. John’s) — A 6-foot-9, 245-pound forward with Gladiator effort and, so far, the answers to the test
Breaking down a player who I’ve scouted live over 30 times. Zuby’s motor is special, and his combination of physicality, quick first step, passing and consistent production makes me feel like it wouldn’t be wise to doubt him in the next stages of his basketball career. https://t.co/VPy7NcVqh1

Complete Film Study and Scouting Report of Dillon Mitchell, a 6-foot-8 swiss army knife forward with elite off-ball defense and offensive finishing. Has shades of Andrei Kirilenko (or to be more tempered, Jarred Vanderbilt) in his game. Mitchell is someone who I think every team would want in their building, because if his game translates, he could be slotted in numerous places on both ends and have an impact. https://t.co/yLSwzuveju

Film Study: Tobi Lawal (Virginia Tech) — https://t.co/ShvRHZoF0G
Scouting the 6-foot-8 forward who has a 6-foot-11 wingspan and a 49-inch max vertical. Detailing Lawal's athletic tools, defensive flashes, role at Virginia Tech, and keys to expanding his offense.

Film Study: Trey Kaufman-Renn (Purdue) — https://t.co/EnPzf73Zrv
A 6-foot-9, 240-pound rebounder with a consistent push shot and real intangibles. Kaufman-Renn is a power forward who knows where he needs to be and what he needs to do on most possessions. Breaking down his game.
@BoilerBall
Here are the specific aspects of Malik Reneau’s game (@MalikReneau) that I dissected in my film study. A lot of offensive scoring ability and touch from 15 feet and in, with the size and physicality to match. Again, expanding his shooting range will be key, but his scoring and touch are something to consider.
