I’ve been thinking: what can we do to keep our children in the South East busy during the long vacation, so that social media, games, addictions, etc., don’t capture their minds?
What do you think?
Dear Lord,
Today, walk into this new week before I do. Touch the plans I made and the mess I didn’t see coming. Make my work walk ahead of me and say what my mouth is tired of proving. Keep my mood from blocking what You send. Give me sense for open doors and peace for the closed one. If doubt moves in, choke the lie out of it and kick it out of my head. In Jesus’ name. Amen🙏🏽
I personally want Obi as Nigeria’s president so people can see that you can be upright, be respectful, be a Nigerian, be law-abiding, have no criminal case and still win in Nigeria. Obi’s presidency is good for Nigeria’s moral compass.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up all those affected by the earthquake. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble. We ask for Your mercy and protection over every person who has experienced loss, fear, injury, or uncertainty.
Father, comfort those who are grieving the loss of loved ones. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Heal the injured, strengthen the weak, and provide hope to those who feel overwhelmed by the devastation around them.
We pray for the rescue workers, medical teams, volunteers, and government officials who are working tirelessly to help those in need. Give them wisdom, endurance, and safety as they serve others. Guide their efforts and help them reach those who are trapped, injured, or in danger.
Lord, provide shelter for the homeless, food for the hungry, water for the thirsty, and comfort for the frightened. Let communities come together in love and compassion, supporting one another through this difficult time.
We ask for Your protection from further harm and for strength as people begin to rebuild their homes, lives, and communities. Remind everyone that even in the darkest moments, Your presence remains near to the brokenhearted.
May Your love bring healing, Your grace bring comfort, and Your power bring restoration. We place our trust in You and pray for peace, recovery, and hope for all those affected.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray.
Amen. 🙏

1,000 Ghanaians, 933 Mozambicans and 150 Malawians have been evacuated from South Africa due to the xenophobic attacks.
1,092 Nigerians are set to be evacuated from South Africa.
Why does the President hardly ever address the nation despite the relentless insurgency, kidnappings, and insecurity that Nigerians face every day?
People are being killed. Children are being abducted. Communities are living in fear.
In many countries, leaders speak directly to their citizens during moments of crisis to reassure them, explain actions being taken, and show that they understand the pain of the people.
The silence is becoming as disturbing as the insecurity itself.
Are Nigerians not human beings?
