@taylorswift13 Hello👋 My big sister has cancer and diabetes and recently had another surgery She is a massive fan & I want to do something for her but couldn't get tickets to your concert. Please can you send her a message or something to cheer her up? Thank you!! #cancersucks
Reaching out to @taylorswift13 with a message from one little sister, on behalf of a her big one. So hard for her to feel empowered, she came up with this idea driving home from @SCHNkids last week. #cancer#neuroblastoma thank you and you're awesome! Please read next message 🥰
Mum, how do you spell chemo? For the first time, my daughter wants to research the treatment she received, so I say 'let me know if you've got any questions' and 'you can't trust everything on the net' then keep sweeping the floor but with a little bit of a pit in my stomach.
@MasterChefUK@BBCiPlayer Yikes @BBC! there's such a huge responsibility to inform, not misinform when you have a public platform. T1 diabetics can eat anything the rest of us can, save them from all the every day judgements and use your platform for good, please
Pls RT ☺️

Yesterday I stepped back in to the classroom after 27 months. Covid, cancer and a new baby have kept me away and it was an emotional day and a big step but those faces and all the energy that an SEN classroom is bursting with brought back the joy of teaching just like that #SEND
Listening to SENDcast with @alisonknowles48. Good to be reminded that "all behaviour serves a purpose, it's driven by an emotion". Dig down and address the emotion at the root of the behaviour and we stand a better chance of a happier child.
We are pleased to announce our EHCP and SEND law Facebook group! Parents and young people can ask Birkett Long's expert SEND solicitors for help on the EHCP process and for advice on SEND law. Solicitors will respond to posts in the group ASAP #SEN#SEND

Children can't have independence but we must give them agency. Teach them to make choices today and they'll learn from every one, especially the mistakes. They'll be better equipped adults and in the meantime, we'll see a reduction in behaviours we don't want to see.

First day back at work after mat leave today. Spending this half term developing my SEN school's methods of assessing and recording assessment. I'm yet to have taught in an SEN school that has it quite right #SEND
@mraspinall Yes! It's so often out of their control and walking in to a room with 30 sets of eyes on you can be daunting. Those words might just mean they come back again tomorrow, no matter what time they manage
@HollytheOT @SENDconsultant Beautiful. And can he access classroom learning from his corner? I love this table so much but I want to think it's a part of the room, not separate from it? #sensoryprocessing#inclusion
@autcareandshare Some of my happiest moments working with young people, teaching life skills in the community. So much richer than the classroom with opportunities to learn at every turn. A whole lot of sensory experiences at the market, hope it was a good morning #SEND#autism
