my doctors just texted to ask me not to contact them for minor illnesses anymore as too many staff are sick with covid and idk you guys, I'm starting to think that simply declaring the pandemic over and discontinuing basically any precautions may not be working out perfectly

Started my week finding out I got offered my dream placement for 22/23 as an honorary assistant psychologist in the specialty I wanted. Finishing the week tucked up in bed Covid positive. You win some, you lose some 🥲.

Boris Johnson just essentially admitted the NHS is going to be battered in the coming weeks but his view is we "just need to get through it".
