I applaud the actions taken today by our Governor and legislative leaders around BGE rate relief. It’s a clear acknowledgement of the burden these high rates are on MD families. However, we need a long-term solution to bring down rate costs. Affordability must be prioritized.
For the life of me, I cannot understand why this man won’t tell the truth. Once in a lifetime COVID Cash that expired in 2024 is not your surplus. You also vetoed “record funding for education” which the legislature restored. Plus Alsobrooks beat you by 12. Sit down #LyingLarry
For eight years, we proved that it’s possible to cut taxes, tolls, and fees by $4.7 billion, provide record funding for education, law enforcement, and transportation, all while turning the largest deficit ever inherited into a record $5.5 billion surplus. We didn’t just restore fiscal responsibility to Annapolis, we left Maryland in the strongest financial position in history.
🚨‼️ Our public schools are under attack! Millions of public #edFunding is at risk! We’ve been sounding the alarm on this. This crisis is real and it only has the potential to grow worse.

Let’s also not forget. With recent SCOTUS rulings emboldening and protecting this reckless federal administration - State government becomes all the more important. A strong state government is the last line of defense.
Happy 4th! As we celebrate America today, remember that the #GOP just cut SNAP, Medicare & Medicaid. They continue to withhold certain federal funding for public education. Devastating cuts to those most in need and struggling to get by. Nothing American about the #OBBB
#ICYMI Close to 200k Marylanders are in jeopardy of losing health coverage. Older adults and those working people just trying to make a better life for themselves are those hurt the most by #OBBB. The #GOP continues to take resources from everyday people and it’s shameful.
Recent decisions and votes coming out of DC regarding the so-called #BBB and the decision to withhold billions of dollars for education programs is further proof that the Republican Party doesn’t care about working people nor those attempting to make a better life for themselves
I’m sick of Hogan’s claim that he left #Maryland in a strong fiscal position. He left state jobs woefully understaffed, mismanaged transportation and other projects and shifted costs to a once in a generation COVID-relief cash infusion from the feds. #LetsBeReal#MDPolitics
I am not a voting member of the @DNC but we must get the Chair election right. So much of how we as @TheDemocrats move forward hinges on our Chair pick.
We need energy and we need to redefine, clearly, who we are as a Party. We must get it right! #Dems#USPolitics
Baltimore City voters have spoken! Big money couldn’t buy our city. Progressive Maryland is proud to have successfully helped lead a coalition uniting labor, faith, and community groups to keep Baltimore's voice strong! #NoOnQuestionH
Congratulations to Congressman-Elect @ShomariFigures! I know you will continue to put on for the people of Alabama’s new 2nd District! You sir, are a history maker. Keep rising, leader!
If you have the ear of President #Biden and you are discussing what he can do to help us Americans, ease the pain AND cement his legacy… it’s simple:
Executive Order: Cancel Student Debt. Large amounts of it per borrower. PERIOD.

Maryland needs and deserves a Senator who will make the tough decisions. And he has proven that either he can’t or he won’t. Which is worse?

Isn’t this the same hypocrite with a commercial urging people to split their tickets to vote Harris/hogan? Yet doesn’t have the courage to do it himself? And this is the guy that wants to be the next #MDSen? Please, Larry.
Maryland vote #ALSOBROOKS! #AllInForAngela#MDpolitics
