In the State Senate, I will keep fighting to fully fund gender affirming care, end the criminalization of LGBTQIA+ people, and guarantee access to safe housing and health care free from discrimination.

Happy pride!!! π³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ Beautiful flag raising ceremony on the State House steps by the LGBTQ+ Caucus.
What pride means to me is fighting fearlessly alongside and for our LGBTQIA+ siblings.
And I was one of only two Democrats to vote against the social media ban bc it would cut LGBTQIA+ youth off from the online communities and resources that serve as lifelines. Thank you @fightfortheftr, @glaad, and @TrevorProject for your advocacy against this bill.
π This Pride join us as we knock on doors, win votes for change, and build power in our community. Every conversation counts, come canvass with us! Food and drinks provided.

We celebrated our amazing campaign volunteers this past Saturday. We are so grateful for every one of you. Every door knocked, every call made, and every conversation had brings us closer to winning the state senate race.
Want to join this incredible team? Canvasses are happening every week, and we need more people on the ground. It's fun, educates our neighbors, and reminds people that their voice matters.

Thank you @whipkclark for securing $39.2 million in community projects and congrats to the City of Woburn and Mayor Concannon for the Horn Pond Fish Passage project!
It was great to take part in the Mystic River Champions Breakfast this morning! It was inspiring to be around so many climate activists. Thanks to Mystic River Watershed Association for all the work you do to protect and maintain the Mystic River and surrounding habitats!
By investing in sustainable development and robust funding for social and subsidized housing, we can build a more affordable, inclusive, and climate-smart future for everyone.
This week I met with constituents from @AbundantHomesMA. We discussed the need for more homes near public transit with no minimum parking requirements, plus a single-stair study commission because our outdated building code makes mid-rise housing unnecessarily expensive to build.
We also talked about stronger tenant protections to keep people in their communities, and advancing H.1572, An Act to promote Yes in My Back Yard out of the Housing Committee.
The MIT administration continues to ignore key issues like protections for international workers, full just cause protections, and equal rights for equal work in the form of fellows inclusion. Itβs time MIT stopped stalling and started bargaining in good faith.
This photo was taken after Friday prayers outside the mosque in the Medford where I met with Muslim voters about protecting immigrant communities, divesting our public dollars spent on weapons to the State of Israel, protecting free speech and fighting in solidarity for Palestine
