In @NavigatePol's Weekly Roundup, I used scores from the recently revived 'sexyMP' website to investigate whether being hot helps at the ballot box...

My findings? A certified 10/10 typically polls 1.9pts higher than a 0/10.

It’s been another perfectly normal week in British politics, featuring £72bn in donations to Reform, warnings that AI could eventually kill us all, and ��� naturally – an inordinate amount of parliamentary interest in the SexyMP website (see @electionmapsuk's excellent analysis on that one in the full roundup). Donald Trump found time to offer his thoughts on the future of Northern Ireland, whilst Angela Rayner entertained the TUC with a few jokes at Wes Streeting’s expense. And if all that wasn’t enough, Parliament has now packed up for conference season, with the Liberal Democrats first out of the blocks this weekend.
