I will ensure that Aurora is their community. It’s easy to say they’re welcome. We have to do the work to make them feel welcome.

Today is Trans Day of Visibility.
As an alderman, I will ensure that Trans people feel welcome and safe in Aurora.
I will ensure that any transgender youth that need it have adequate housing, as we continue to see homelessness rates in the community grow.
I will ensure that there are resources for the trans community. Many people in the trans community, especially trans youth, deal with homelessness and isolation, as they get ostracized from the community.
First bike ride of the season.
It’s good exercise and can often be an environmentally sound mode of transportation. As alderman, I will commit to ensuring that Aurora maintains excellent cycling infrastructure and is more interconnected by bike,
@gail_eisenberg @AmyBurrellOP@JeremyforJoliet@brian_lavaque . @electnair is an environmental and labor activist running for Aurora City Council!
If elected, Arjun wants to create a stronger civilian review board, bring green jobs to the city, and help make all municipal elections ranked choice.

In March Madness, sometimes you win, and sometimes you lose. You're more likely to get struck by lightning on the way to pick up your perfect bracket winnings and get struck again on the way home, than you are to actually win the perfect bracket challenge.
What I do have a better of chance of winning, however, is the election on April 6. So make sure you get out and vote, whether it's on election day, early voting, or vote by mail. We're a team, and together, we can do this.
If you know me, you know I love St. Patrick’s Day. And, you also know that my favorite color is green. When elected, I will make sure that Aurora becomes a green city and that we become a leader in green energy.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, and remember to keep it safe and sane!
We must conintue to make it our goal to ensure women not only feel empowered, but are truly treated as equals, under the law and otherwise. And we must continue Parson’s fight, and build a world, and a city, where politics only serves the highest bidder.

For International Women’s Day, here is a quote from a woman who inspires me.
Lucy Parsons fought in the then fledging labor movement in the early 1900s and help build it into a mighty force. And though she faced adversities, she kept fighting on.
