@lazy_literatus @ereliuer_eteer@jason_koebler@EMostaque As a musician, I can't agree with that. human made copy and theft also exists, and humans do things these LLMs don't do - making it our own as you said. We can understand (or fail to), feel, forget, curate... We might emphasize, reject, or parody aspects of it. AI is just maths.
@lazy_literatus @ereliuer_eteer@jason_koebler@EMostaque And by the way, a lot of cases are like that. If you need to prove a company is doing something illegal, it's usually a lot of work.
@lazy_literatus @ereliuer_eteer@jason_koebler@EMostaque So I would have to put some effort to find them (specify exact titles, etc). That would not be enough of an excuse anyway, you would still be guilty.
@NightblueArt@MaruketaS @inkblot_art I don't even know if it's even possible to protect against scraping unfortunately. Even watermarked images they still use...
@BoatbomberRBLX@DarekZabrocki@Rahll Licencing images for AI use could be a solution, but you'd need an appropriate licence for that, because it's not just use, but redistribution. Basic licence would not cover that use. But if AI models end up paying fairly for the training data, the economic interest crumbles.
@Zerokkk_@_PROFLIGATE@sarahdvojack If you did your research and looked into how artists actually works you'd see how wrong you are. Look into it, there's 100s of years of knowledge on that topic!
@tumult@downhill2k01 Yeah I got that ☺️ mine still applies, piano roll in other software usually confuse me a bit because interactions are working slightly differently than in Live.
@downhill2k01@tumult Nice! most of these are in ableton live now btw :) there's polyphonic aftertouch that can control a lot of stuff per note which is awesome.
@dannirowanart I think if you can get used to the glide input technique it's fine - but I can't, and I hate typing on my phone as well. Tablet is decent because visual keys are much larger, but still prefer a physical keyboard.
@tha_rami @VileLasagna big servers like https://t.co/s4YzXTIS0C get blocked by a lot of other instances because they are too big and harder to moderate. It's definitely worth being on a smaller instance , it won't prevent you to interact with other smaller gamedev hubs :)
@Strategictaper My DJ career was at 0.0 in 2020. Since I started exercising every day (except Sunday, day of rest), I became debt free and my DJ career increased 20x! Time to get serious everyone.
