My best friend who ruled my entire world, I am grateful to have shared my time here on earth with someone who was the epitome of love and loyalty. Although it’s hard to keep it together sometimes, thru it all I’m being guided by his eternal love. Always and forever.
Someone treating you like you don't matter is all the closure you need. When they can go all day without checking on you, ignore what you said bothered you, and only show up when it benefits them, they already made your place in their life clear. You don't need one more conversation to understand it. The way they handled you was the answer.
Nobody really cares about your mental health until it starts showing up as anger. When you’re quietly overwhelmed, carrying the weight of everything by yourself, people tell you to “stay strong” and keep pushing like nothing is wrong. But the moment all that bottled-up pain comes to the surface and you stop handling it the way everyone expects, suddenly you’re the problem.
“I’m gonna buy a house at this age and be married at this age & have kids at this age” type shit. Now, a nigga would be lucky to get a FaceTime call from me that’s how serious I am about never doing this again.
I don’t think I could ever love someone again romantically. Just the idea of constantly reheating your heart for someone else just doesn’t make me feel good. Three failed relationships all before the age of 30 TO ME is sad.
I literally told my last partner if this doesn’t work out this is it. I never thought I’d become somewhat of a retired loverboy, but I think I was forcing/obsessed with the idea of making my teenage self happy.
