But then you partner with, protect, and repeatedly praise Delcy Rodríguez and the same socialist structure that ruined Venezuela for 27 years. You call her “terrific,” say she’s doing a “fantastic job,” shield her, and treat the Chavista apparatus as a partner.
You can’t fight socialism in New York while elevating the architects of socialist destruction in Venezuela. The principle is the same. The failure is the same. Consistency matters.

Veteran Marine Michael Ryan Burke, 42, died after being shot at his home in Columbia, Missouri on January 18, 2026. What began as a normal Facebook Marketplace sale of an iPhone, turned into a robbery. In his final moments, Burke called 911 to describe the suspects and texted his mother, Erlinda Burke, and his sister, Maria Werly, "I'm dying and I love you."

Michael was a University of Missouri graduate with degrees in psychology and sociology. He served as a Force Reconnaissance Staff Sergeant with combat experience, worked as a firefighter for the City of Columbia, served as a pastor, and dedicated himself to missionary work in places like Uganda, Haiti, and Iraq, along with efforts against human trafficking.

Michael's longtime friend and fraternity brother Jerry Reifeiss said, "That was just Ryan. He always put people in front of him and wanted to make sure people knew how he felt."

Let us honor Michael's life by remembering his name. Rest in peace, Marine.

NEW: In a rare denaturalization case, DOJ has filed to strip U.S. citizenship away from the former mayor of North Miami, FL, who they allege is a Haitian fraudster who used two identities & committed marriage fraud to obtain American citizenship after illegally entering the U.S.

DOJ says he used a fraudulent “photo switched” passport under the name Jean Philippe Janiver to enter the U.S. before being ordered deported under that identity in 2001. He appealed the deportation order, then withdrew the appeal, claiming he had moved back to Haiti, when in reality, he remained in the U.S. and took on a new name, Philippe Bien-Aime, and new date of birth, then married a U.S. citizen to obtain permanent resident status.

But DOJ says that marriage was fraudulent, because he was already married to a Haitian citizen.

DOJ says after making a serious of fraudulent statements to immigration authorities, he was eventually naturalized as a U.S. citizen in 2006 under the new identity.

DOJ says federal investigators at DHS/USCIS discovered the fraud & confirmed it through a comparison of fingerprints that he provided under the two identities.

That review is part of an ongoing national initiative designed to find fraud in partnership between DOJ & USCIS.
