Today we honor Jaswant Singh Khalra Day, a time to remember and celebrate the legacy of this brave advocate for human rights and justice.
The City of Brampton supports this important day by lighting the City Hall clocktower orange to raise awareness and show solidarity.
Join us in commemorating Khalra’s contributions and standing up for justice. 🧡🏛️
This photo taken after the results were announced shall remain a reminder of how much we have accomplished together. We have raised important issues, sparked meaningful conversations, and brought our community closer. Thank you everyone.

This is crazy. What is stopping Trudeau from acting on issues that impact everyday Canadians? The only explanation seems to be is that he is incapable.

Guy in Brampton has his car stolen right from his driveway. He told the police where the tracker shows the car is. But they can't do anything about it. INSANE.
1. Scan the sea cans.
2. Spot the stolen car.
3. Give it back to the owner, who will bring it home.
Rinse. Repeat.

I am fearful of what this massive debt servicing cost will mean for our future Canadians. Trudeau is definitely going to leave Canada in the worst possible situation.

I just spoke to someone who lost her job because of carbon tax. The company located in Brampton shut down because they couldn't afford the gas used to melt aluminum.
#carbonTAX#AxeTheTax
The federal carbon tax is not working for Nova Scotians. I'm joining Premiers across the country in calling on the Prime Minister to convene a First Ministers' meeting to discuss the impact of the carbon tax on our economy and Nova Scotians.
Tone deaf or the quiet part accidentally said out loud; either way, this is not good for Canada.

This is wrong on so many levels. If you are a politicians, you will be asked questions that you do not like and in settings that are not of your choosing.

Nigerians, like other communities, bring a wealth of experience and culture. I had that pleasure of making great friends with Canadians who trace back their roots to Nigeria.
To all those celebrating, congratulations on this flag raising.
#Nigerians#StrongerTogether
This afternoon, the community gathered in Ken Whillans Square at Brampton City Hall for a flag raising honouring Nigeria’s Independence Day.
Today and every day, the City recognizes and celebrates the significant contributions of the Nigerian community in #Brampton. 🇳🇬
Extra-judicial killings are wrong anywhere, let alone on foreign soil. I am certain that all Canadians will unequivocally condemn this action by Indian regime and stand steadfastly behind Canadian sovereignty.
