A giant ginger cat installation has graced Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

According to the airport, the installation, called “A Moment to Purr,” aims to welcome passengers with “comfort and warmth.”

"Inspired by the concept of a virtual pet, this interactive experience invites passengers to engage with the cat through a dedicated kiosk - feed it, interact with it, and enjoy its playful responses in real time," HKIA said.

The cat will be on display until May 2.
