Well, the degen journey into on-chain collections continues. 😄
Today I want to talk about Elementals Quest by the still relatively unknown artist @elementalsfun.
The main thing that attracted me was the supply: only 2,222 NFTs.
Why is a small supply such a big advantage to me?
Because I’ve seen the same story many times. A small collection launches with an interesting style, bots and a few big holders scoop up 100–200 NFTs each, then the floor starts falling, the collection dies, the founder stops pushing, and people are left holding losses.
At the moment, I own 200 NFTs from this collection. By my rough estimate, more than 1,000 NFTs are already in the hands of real people, while bots still hold around 500 NFTs.
About 200 of those bot-held NFTs are listed for sale.
But bots are smart. They don’t sell everything.
Why?
Because we’ve seen examples like @normiesART and @D3lMundos. Some wallets minted those collections long ago and simply kept holding. Now they benefit from those holdings through allocations and whitelist opportunities in new launches.
Now let’s talk about what makes Elementals Quest interesting.
In some ways it reminds me of Heraldia, but the mechanics are very different.
In Heraldia, you could simply transfer an NFT from one wallet to another and its rarity would change. That’s exactly why many collectors, including me, made the mistake of buying expensive rare NFTs.
Here, the system is different.
Each Elemental can mutate a maximum of 7 times. Every reroll costs 0.0001 ETH and changes only one trait.
The odds gradually improve:
Common → Rare → Legendary → Mythic.
After the seventh reroll, the NFT is permanently locked.
In simple terms, there’s currently very little reason to overpay for already rare NFTs.
At this stage, the strategy seems to be accumulating floor NFTs and giving yourself the opportunity to upgrade them through mutations.
And here’s the most degen thought of all.
In my opinion, the best place to potentially lose money right now would be simply buying the entire floor at 0.0001 ETH.
The whole floor would cost only about 0.222 ETH.
Draw your own conclusions. 😄

@bakhnarel1 so you can reroll a trait 7 times, and everytime you roll, you have a higher chance of getting a legendary / mythic trait.
much more information on the site on how it works
