This was a mere video for the leadership contest of the greens. But it goes right to the heart of the issue. We all needed to see this. https://t.co/LERdPcj1KR via @YouTube
He titled this piece the “The Divided States of America” but we in the “divided kingdom” can’t look away as we share the same reality. It’s has always been class war the burning question is how long we will pretend it isn’t! https://t.co/Riui4qNoBd via @YouTube
@Keir_Starmer I’d rather you earnestly put your efforts into providing secure homes, secure jobs immune to the AI threat, secure wages that allow families to provide in the cost of living crisis and secure pensions. If you could also secure healthcare and provide dentistry again please.
I never thought I’d be so relieved to hear someone say the “fire engines aren’t coming” but I’d thought it for so long that hearing someone else say it is like breathing out…

@justin_garson I guess they assumed that if you could have you would have? I think they work with what’s presented, they don’t work with systems, socially prescribe or life coach. I think they should say that you are having a normal reaction to an abnormal situation when you are but they don’t.
The joys to come…closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran would significantly impact the UK through energy costs and potential disruptions to global trade. While the UK doesn't import a large amount of oil from the Gulf region, the global market is interconnected.
2023:
British five-year-olds are up to 7cm shorter than children of the same age in Europe.
Some experts are suggesting nutrition- and especially a lack of quality food - could be stunting the growth of children in the UK.

@turnedwife The men I know are convinced women like gym bodies and flash cars? They’re stuck on a male gaze ideal which I don’t fancy and I don’t know a girl friend or relative who does. Yet, I can’t convince them of this. I’d rather a dependable, warm, emotionally intelligent, caring man🤷🏼♀️
So far the majority of his actions have forwarded the agenda which pushes for the centralisation of power, ethnonationalist rhetoric, suppression of dissent, and fusion of religious ideology with state policy and thus, mirrors early fascist regimes. We’re truly in dangerous times
Tomorrow is the 19th April and the question is will he or won’t he?
Invoking the insurrection act is directly linked to project 2025 which explicitly advocates for the use of this law to expand
presidential powers. Project 2025 has provided the blueprint for Trumps second term
@Otto_English @DanKaszeta Adults don’t do this. Supervisors turn up late because their car broke down, managers take time off to take their cat to the vet. Board members have flights delayed. These are not small adults they are children yet we want them to circumnavigate a world they don’t control.
Good to see that the Government may not proceed with the rumoured freeze on PIP.
But that's not enough. All the other cuts would still punish disabled and vulnerable people.
The Government needs to drop any idea of balancing the books on the backs of the disabled and poor.
@DrJessTaylor You are so right and it’s even worse if your child was misdiagnosed with BPD as an overwhelmed teen masking Autism. Then you can’t even get proper medical treatment never-mind employment.
Every now and again in history someone stands up and their personal act of bravery and dedication starts a movement and changes a nation. I think that’s what we are seeing here. I hope I’m right because we need this!

"This is the great discovery of the conflict entrepreneurs: what counts in politics is not how well people are doing, but how well they're doing in relation to designated out-groups." So people support a class war against themselves.

@canadasandra@DrJessTaylor@thefempire50 I doubt he is mentally ill. Evil is unusually a term we use when we can’t understand someone’s behaviour as it is too abhorrent to us. He has sexual tastes that others share but sit outside of the norm, an entitled attitude and a lack of empathy or morality. As do many. Scary!
The best way to lose a game is to not even realise you are playing it. This collective state of economic blindness which stops us seeing the way of things really has to end.
Just posting since it seems not really covered on the news and some followers might not have seen it:
The markets are really going for the UK today and they will probably force the government into spending cuts, possibly as soon as today.
