First grade held Fable Olympics to celebrate the end of Knowledge Unit 1 Fables and Folktales. Students participated in events that went with 3 of our stories.
We had our 1st Girls on the Run practice today! So excited to see what this group accomplishes!
East Elementary School hosted local leaders for October's Reading Champions! Missouri First Lady, Teresa Parson; Dr. Troy Hogg, Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Education; and Boys and Girls Club representatives spent the afternoon reading books to our students.
Today we had a special delivery at East. Next week students will get to help name them. We will have a penny war to decide their names. Thank you to all that helped make this an exciting experience for the students at East school.

Officer Barren came and talked to second grade about rules, laws, and our rights as citizens.
We have champion students at East school. Our 5th grade students cheered on a 2nd Grade class as they were doing the half mile run today.🦅

Today East school students got to meet Phoenix the East School Eagle. Today Phoenix delivered popsicles the students for completing their I ready testing. #eastschoolwerule
