Our bus drivers provide an invaluable service to our students and community. When you encounter them on the road, be patient and understand the benefits they provide.
I remember seeing a video about a woman who was searching for her fourth grade teacher from 20 years earlier. She wanted to thank him for the role he played in her life.
Teachers… you have no idea how many of your former students would love the opportunity to thank you.

Teacher retention will be an even bigger issue this year, which is saying A LOT! if you want to keep the best teachers, treat them like they are the best. Few teachers leave an environment where they feel valued, supported, appreciated, and treated like professionals.
One of the hardest leadership positions is a principal/ school level leadership. Mainly because it comes with a lot of responsibility but very little authority. Which is sad, because the leadership in the schools understand the needs of the school much better than those above.
The best leaders are like the best teachers. They rarely get the accolades they deserve because they don’t seek them but rather are seeking to make those around them better.
@horynarph I can only imagine all the emotions. Proud, a little guilt to not be at two places at the same time, etc. I know you know the age old saying of “enjoy while you can as it passes too quickly”. You are such a good dad.
Picture day will be here soon! Spring Pictures will be taken February 2nd. Order forms will be sent home next week. Individual pictures and class pictures must be pre-ordered and pre-paid this year. #SayCheese
Educators talk a lot about the role that Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs plays for students. Leaders should never forget that it applies to the adults in the school as well.
